
Stephanie Atkinson attended McMaster University to complete both her undergraduate and graduate degrees. During her time at McMaster she obtained a Bachelors degree in Political Science as well as a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy. She is a member in good standing of the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO), the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists (OSOT) and has been practicing Occupational Therapy in Ontario's Auto Insurance Industry since September 2009.
Stephanie has a variety of clinical experience including out patient neurological rehab, geriatrics, community mental health and health promotion at a local Community Health Centre. Stephanie’s main focus of clinical practice includes working with individuals who have sustained soft tissue and orthopedic injuries. In addition, she also has experience working with individuals who have sustained traumatic brain injuries and individuals with psychological impairments.

Prior to working as an Occupational Therapist, Stephanie worked for seven years in the Canadian Armed Forces, as a member of the Canadian Naval Reserves. She also worked as a YMCA Employment Counselor for at risk youth and a program coordinator with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Beyond work, Stephanie enjoys travelling, playing piano and cello, exercise, watching television and most of all spending time with family and friends. Stephanie currently resides in Grimsby, Ontario.
